Diversity, equity, and inclusion, or DEI, is no longer a peripheral human resources issue. It has become a core dimension of organizational sustainability, social value creation, and long-term impact. Around the world, stakeholders increasingly expect organizations to demonstrate not only financial performance, but also fairness, accountability, inclusion, and the ability to create environments where people can participate, contribute, and thrive.

This is why the Global Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Benchmarks, or GDEIB, is highly relevant to the mission of Asian Impact Management Review. As Taiwan’s first Certified Practitioner in Global Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Benchmarks, I see GDEIB not only as a DEI framework, but also as an impact management tool. It helps organizations move from intention to evidence, from isolated activities to systemic change, and from symbolic commitment to measurable progress.
